تمایز مفهوم حداقلی و مفهوم غلیظ در زبان دینی

چکیده
معناشناسیِ زبان دینی با این پرسش مواجه است که کاربرد واژگان در مورد خدا را چگونه باید فهمید که تا حد امکان نه گرفتار انسان‌وارانگاریِ او شویم و نه دچار تعطیل و انسداد راه شناخت خدا. مقاله‌ی حاضر از تمایز میان مفهوم حداقلی و مفهوم غلیظ در فلسفه‌ی مایکل لینچ بهره می‌گیرد و برای پرسش یادشده دو راه‌حل ارائه می‌دهد: ۱) کاربرد واژگان در ساحت بشری بنا بر مفهوم حداقلی و در ساحت الهی بنا بر مفهوم غلیظ است؛ ۲) کاربرد واژگان در هر دو ساحت بنا بر مفهوم غلیظ‌ است اما کاربرد الهی از غلظتِ بیش‌تری برخوردار است. در ادامه، پس از نقد و بررسی این راه‌حل‌ها ادعا خواهد شد که اگرچه تمایز میان مفهوم حداقلی و مفهوم غلیظ به تبیین تمایز کاربردهای بشری و الهیِ واژگان کمک می‌کند، اما هم‌چنان در تعیین مقتضیات مابعدالطبیعیِ مفاهیمی که بر خداوند حمل می‌شوند، با دشواری‌های بنیادینی مواجه است.
