قرآن کریم برای فضیلت اخلاقی شکر آثار معرفتی بیان میفرماید. رویکرد مسئولیتگرا در معرفتشناسی فضیلتگرا میتواند پاسخ دهد که چرا چنین آثاری وجود دارد. از معرفتشناسان فضیلتگرا تنها رابرتس است که میتوان مقدمات لازم اخلاقی و معرفتی را برای دادن چنین پاسخی از آثار او بهدست آورد. من ابتدا تعریفی قرآنی از شکر بهدست میدهم. سپس تعریف رابرتس را بیان میکنم و آنگاه این دو تعریف را مقایسه میکنم. در گام بعد تعریفی قرآنی از فضیلت اخلاقی شکر بهدست میدهم. سپس تعریف رابرتس را بیان میکنم و آنگاه این دو تعریف را مقایسه میکنم. در گام بعد آثار معرفتی شکر را در قرآن کریم به تفکیک شکر و آیه، شکر و ایمان، شکر و هدایت، شکر و قوای معرفتی و شکر و حکمت بیان میکنم. سپس معرفتشناسی رابرتس و بر آن اساس آثار معرفتی شکر را به اجمال توضیح میدهم. آنگاه آثار معرفتی شکر در قرآن کریم را براساس آرای معرفتی رابرتس تبیین میکنم.
